In May 2006 Kazakhtelecom JSC finished the first stage of the Kazakhtelecom JSC Network Management System Project
The management system is based on products of the Cisco Info Center (CIC) series which represent the integrated controlling facilities for communication operator’s networks and IT infrastructure. The management system provides for the transient error monitoring, isolation of malfunctions and on-line service level control. It gives operators an opportunity to focus on really important events and is flexible and fully adjustable to certain needs by means of an application which consolidates, de-duplicates (excludes rerecording), filters and correlates the transient errors information from different management platforms and directly from network devices operating on different technologies.
