   The 6th TAE Operation, Restoration and Marketing Working Group Meeting was held in Shanghai, China, October 31-November 02, 2006.

   The main questions discussed on the meeting were: analysis of requests and demands of TAE capacities, preparation of commercial offers for potential customers of TAE capacities based on marketing researches, consideration of participation of TAE parties in construction of submarine fiber cables TCL Baku-Aktau and Georgia-Ukraine, consideration of technical possibilities and price offers on connection of Afghanistan via TAE, working out of the recommendations on modernization of crossborder TAE segments using WDM technology, working out the “Draft of Service Level Agreement” for TAE circuits.
