   The 19th TAE Management Committee Meeting was held in Leipzig, Germany, may 19-22, 2008.

   The main questions discussed on the meeting were: analysis of requests and demands of TAE capacities, consideration of proposals made by TAE OR&MWG, consideration of participation of TAE parties in construction of new submarine fiber cables in Caspian and Black Sea Regions, working out of the recommendations on modernization of crossborder TAE segments using WDM technology, approval of the “Draft of Service Level Agreement” for TAE circuits, consideration of adoption of new TAE members and observers.
