TAE Operation, Restoration and Marketing Working Group Meeting in Baku, Azerbaijan, November 13-14, 2008.


   The 8th TAE OR&MWG Meeting was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, November 13-14, 2008. This meeting was held at the same time with 14th international exhibition and conference “BakuTel-2008”. 

   The main questions discussed on the meeting were: analysis of possibilities of establishment of 2,5Gbit/s and 10Gbit/s blocks from Europe to Caucasus, Central Asia and China on TAE, preparation of technical task on the modernization of Trans Asia Europe transport system on DWDM technology, consideration of price offers for potential customers of TAE capacity, consideration of possibilities of TAE operators to lease dark fibers for establishment of transport networks.
