TAE Management Committee meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, May 14-15, 2009.

   The 20th TAE Management Committee Meeting was held in Istanbul, Turkey, May 14-15, 2009.

   The main questions discussed on the meeting were: analysis of requests and demands of TAE capacities, possibilities of establishment of 2,5 and 10 Gbit/s circuits with Internet access via TAE, consideration of proposals made by TAE OR&MWG, consideration of possibilities of construction of new submarine systems in Caspian and Black Sea Regions, report of TAE SA, working out of the recommendations on modernization of crossborder TAE segments using WDM technology, approval of the “Draft of Agreemenet for Lease of Dark Fibers” for TAE circuits, consideration of adoption of new TAE members and observers.
